校史沿革
重庆财经学院的前身可以追溯到1953年成立的四川财贸学院。随着社会经济的发展和教育改革的推进，该校在多次合并与分立中逐渐成长，直至1980年代被更名为四川商业高等学校。在1999年，学校再次更名为重庆工商职业技术大学，并于2015年正式升格为本科院校，更换了现有的校名——重庆财经学院。经过几十年的发展，这所位于青城山脚下的小城堡式建筑群已经成为一个集经济管理、金融工程、会计学等多个专业领域于一体的大型综合性高等教育机构。
